The first game we got for our daughter (a few months shy of 3 years) was Dora and the Snow Princess, which was good, but required a bit more skill than she currently had….so there was quite a bit of her handing us the remote in order for us to complete the movement/task. After reading reviews for Ni Hao super Game Day, we got it for her at Christmas (just turned 3 beginning of december) and it’s just fantastic! Each short game is a different concept that simply requires her to move like shown on the screen. The Characters automatically move and complete the task. We use the two player mode and play a long and model the movements and we all have fun. It really is geared for the young pre-school set and I hope 2K games come out with more great games for this age range. Oh, and we have gotten back to playing Dora (also by 2K), and while my daughter has gotten a bit more skilled at it, she still needs a bit more development before that game (which is a great one probably for 3 1/2 to 4 year olds) becomes her favorite. All in all, don’t hesitate to order NiHao Kai Lan!

Bought this game for my 3.5 yr. old daughter. She loves this game. It’s easy enough for her to play, but still a challenge. Easy directions and different skill levels they have to earn still without making it too difficult for the little ones to play. It’s active and they have to move for most of the games. A definite buy for the younger gamers in your family.

I purchased this game for my daughter’s 4th birthday after deciding to return another game (Jumpstart-ok, but better as a computer game) and I’m glad I did. This game is comprised of 12 mini games. There are 4 mini games in each area and once you play all four you unlock a new area. There are 3 areas. Each game is pretty simple, but fun and active. After playing a few games together, my daughter has no trouble navigating this game by herself. I like that this game uses the features that are unique to the wii, like using the wiimote as a net, racquet, etc instead of just a remote. Another bonus to this game is that you can play in 2-player mode if you have 2 wiimotes. Some of the other little kids games don’t have this option. Overall, this is a great game for your wii library if you have a young gamer in the house!
