Got this to replace the original, which my sweet, adorable kitten with razors for teeth chewed thru. Frankly, this one is better than the original! You just plug it in to the USB on the console, and it works flawlessly — with extended range as well. Am using it with a 42″ TV and am well pleased with it. Also, even though the cord is significantly thicker than the cord on the original, I got some cord wrap and wrapped the USB cable with it. Take that, kitty!!! Would highly recommend buying this product even as a “back up” in case something happens to your original sensor bar. Yeah, you can buy the “wireless” bars, but you’d better own a battery factory!

I have this plugged into the service USB on my Sony KDL-55V5100 and am very pleased. The range is about 10-12 feet to the couch and it only just starts giving out at that range.

Works very well. Does not look as well finished as some of the others, but I like the way it looks attached to my TV better (barely noticablr mounted upside down under plasma). The sensor bar is plugged into the USB port on the Plasma, so it is only on when the TV is on and I don’t have to replace the batteries. The response is great, with the Nykko we had, the cursor jittered all over the screen. This one provides an easy to control cursor. Highly recommend this unit.

Review by Michael Kerner for Wii Hip Street Wireless Remote – Pink
    Rating:
When it has came down to it, Nintendo has had so many 3rd party accessories for the system. While many of them try to deliver what they promise, they just don’t always work what they promise to deliver. That comes strongly with Hip Street’s Wireless Remote. While I do love their shocking pink color, it just doesn’t feel like it delivers the way it should be, especially on games that are built around the Wii Motionplus like Wii Sports Resort. I really lost a bit of control on those games with this remote. Overall if you’re looking for a great Wii-mote, stick with the ones that Nintendo makes, especially for their upcoming Wii Remote Plus, which has the sensitivity of the Wii Motion Plus controls built right in. I would honestly recommend that one instead of it being pink for this one.
