Truly a plug and charge device although you have to remove the wii remote plastic cover I did not have to remove the wrist straps to charge them. Only problem i guess there is, is that there are no instructions or at least none in my package except for a plastic label on the back of the batteries but, other than that none. so im not really sure who to call or contact if down the line I have troubleshooting problems. but so far so good.

It comes with a power cord USB type that plugs in the back of your wii its short though so you will have to set it up close to your console. When charging or powered rather the lights will glow blue when fully charged. The batteries will still charge when the wii is on yellow light standby but if the wii is shut down completely to the red light the charging dock will shut of as well. These were some things I had to figure out my self being that there was no instruction manual.

All in all it works great batteries last long and looks cool when charging. Don’t know what the long term will bring but for now its perfect. I recommend this product for wii owners. Its cost efficient and does what its supposed too. a really good buy.

We were pleased with this Wii remote charger, at first, although my son noted that after installing the rechargeable batteries, one of our wii remotes made a rattling sound–the battery rattling a bit inside the remote. The other day the rattly remote stopped working, my son opened the battery pack so he could resync the remote and the battery completely fell apart. We can not get the different components–battery cells, their holder, these two little brass things, the plastic bit that holds the brass things in place–to fit back together. And when we tried to use conventional batteries, the remote still doesn’t work. I think this charger may have damaged our remotes –unplugging the wii, resyncing, ect hasn’t helped–and now neither one of our remotes will work. I really regret buying this product. We have only owned it for a few weeks.

Product works OK but once in awhile the remotes cease to work and you have to resync the remotes with the Wii unit. FYI – instructions indicate to remove battery case cover and push sync buttom in battery compartment but these rechargable batteries have a hole through the cover that allows you to press the sync button inside the battery case using something like a straightened paper clip.
