Review by P. Mcguire for Lego Star Wars: The Complete Saga + Dual Glow Sabers for Nintendo Wii
Rating:
I ordered this product for my son for Christmas. The game is great and we are enjoying it. The lightsabers are terrible. The locking mechanism for attaching to the Wii controller broke in one day which resulted in the plastic closure snapping off. Don’t waste your money on the lightsabers.

The game is great — five stars for my 7 year old, but the glow sabers aren’t useful at all. You can put the hand controllers in them, but they aren’t rugged enough for much contact if you were to duel. They’re basically flashlights.

I bought this game with glow sabers for my son. He likes the game but dissapointed in the light sabers. One, you need jell casing to be able to fit and use the sabers. Two, sabers are bit cheaply made that handle part and top part broke apart. I fixed it by duck taping it and now it doesn’t look “cool” (according to my son). Yes, naturally my son was using it with friends, they were using gently but normal “boys” use. I wish sabers were little bit well made…..I think that it will please pre-schoolers but not older elementary kids.

The game is awsome but the sabars are cheaply made I would not get them again. We have already lost the lock pieces off of one that contacts to the remote. My son doesn’t even want to use them because it doesn’t contact with the actions in the game. I would by the game again and again but the sabars are garbage.

My fiance and I bought this for our 4 year old for Christmas. It is a fantastic game, my son loves being able to use the lightsabre and my fiance who is 25 loves to play with him. This game is perfect for the little or big kid on your list!
