Review by T. Boadway for Dream Dance & Cheer

The only option I could get to work was the story mode so that is all I can report on, all other choices froze up the whole game when I chose them. First off this game has nothing to do with dancing or cheering. There are cheerleaders in the background cheering to techno beat (no real music) but you don’t do anything they are doing. I really like DDR, We Cheer 2, Dancing with the Stars:We Dance so I thought I’d give this a try. It’s really really bad.

    Cons

    – very bad graphics, so bad it’s hard to see the moves you are supposed to make. There are 3 different things you are supposed to do. 1) 6 dots – 3 on each side and when it turns blue you have to point your wii mote and nunchuck in those directions (resembling samba de amigo but not in a good way) the blue is so similar to the white that you can barely tell it is changed to point that way and when you do it only registers sometimes.

    2) trace some lines that show up on the screen, they don’t correspond to the music and register very poorly. So boring it’s hard to describe.

    3) put your left or right foot on the balance board, a foot in the star put your foot on and foot with an international no sign (the O with the slash through it, like no smoking sign) foot off. It’s so hard to see if there is a no sign or not because the graphics are so bad that it is just a joke.

The music is just techno beats no actual music.

No customization, if you don’t want to be an ugly chick then sorry that’s all you get.

    No cardio no exercise benefit.

I can’t believe someone actually took their time to make and get this game on the market, it is that bad. i wouldn’t even give it one star but it wouldn’t let me leave it a zero.
